Trademark Registration Services
The trademark registration process usually takes around 4 months, if no opposition is raised.
Trademark Registration Process:
- Trademark applications are examined by Intellectual Property Office. The examiner's decision is usually received around 1-2 months. Successful applications are published in the Trade Mark Journal for opposition purposes.
- After the mark has been published, there is a 2 month opposition period in which anybody may oppose its registration. If someone gives notice that they are considering an opposition, this period will be extended to 3 months.
- If nobody opposes the mark, IPO will register it 2 weeks after the opposition period ends and send you the registration certificate by post.
