WHAT IS THE PRODUCT INFORMATION FILE? The product information file (ÜBD-PIF) is a combination of the technical documentation required for each cosmetic product to be released. The manufacturer has to keep the cosmetic product information file for ten (10) years after the last series of the relevant cosmetic product is released. The producer is obliged to have the product information file of the regulation ready at the address indicated on the label within three working days upon the request of the Ministry for market surveillance and inspection.
